Some people have said that by having these bike sharing businesses pop up all over the U.S. we are taking away the whole essence of what the bicycle has evolved to be. Fun.  That we have made the bicycle become a part of public transit.

Hogwash I say. If we can get more bikes on the road and less cars and people are enjoying themselves while doing this then it’s a win win.
